    Obama is too busy protecting the rest of the world, he has no time for us. We have to protect ourselves.

    At last, a positive achievement by the alledged Messiah–a meaningful boost in sales for a relatively small, but important, component of our retail economy.

    Sales of ammo are so brisk that most of the online suppliers are now out of stock on the more popular calibers–9mm, 5.56, 45 ACP, .357, .38 special, etc.

    Fortunately, the particularly astute foresaw the specter of Obummer’s past positions on gun control and took action once he was nominated.

    These concerned citizens proactively prepared for his inevitable campaign to disarm the honest segment of our populace, led by his disciple/pet lizard Rohm–pursuing a legislative objective that is festering like an oozing boil in this administration’s (and those of the rabid wombat, left wing leaders of the Senate and House) lists of priorities.

    Second ammendment? What’s that? Must have been a quill typo some centuries ago.

    Time to buy shares in S&W, Ruger, Glock, H&K, Armalite, etc.? Just don’t plan on holding them for too long, as those companies will be nationalized and their manufacturing capabilities converted to producing fly swatters with which we will be allowed to defend our families and homes.

    Of course, to own such a lethal, destructive weapon, we’ll be required to register our swatters and keep them locked up at all times except, of course, when Federal ATF marshals arrive at our homes unannounced to check that we’ve adhered to the stringent swatter ownership regulations and don’t own any illegal swatarms.

    Federally regulated swatting ranges will be established so that swatter-safety courses may be conducted–mandatory indoctrination in order to qualify for ownership permits. Both documented citizens and illegal aliens will be allowed to own swatters, but the latter will be provided with robust Federally-supplied financial assistance to complete the indoctination and application requirements, discounts on swatarms, and to ensure proper storage capabilities in their government-provided residences.

    Of course, assault swatters will be banned–those with extra large heads or flex handles that increase swat-action torque. Only those swatters meeting the Federal government’s strict design guidelines and sold at designated state police stations will be available to those who qualify for ownership.

    Talk about a nanny state.

    I want to get one before I can’t too… with training etc….but the question is… why register? So “they” can demand your gun be turned in, or come git’em? They don’t have gun registration in North Dakota, every one is armed to the teeth and their murder rate is LOW…Low crime rate in gun totin’ Texas too, so I have heard….

    I don’t understand it, Christopher.

    Obama is going to get rid of poverty. Obama is going to stop violence, rid the world of nuclear weapons and make people from all the other nations love us.

    Why, then, would any of us need guns?
