Jim Himes was among a number of Democrats who sold their vote on the Carbon Tax bill for a measly $2,000 apiece. Chris Shays, the man Himes replaced, left Washington after 34 years with no more money than when he came. I suspect Himes won’t make that same mistake but he’d better raise his prices.

For What It's Worth 
Twenty two freshmen Congressional Democrats signed and sent a letter to Nancy Pelosi opposing the tax increases necessary to Obamacare. They sent their letter in defense of small businesses which would bear a disproportionate brunt of the cost for providing health insurance to the “uninsured,” a group comprised largely of illegal aliens.
Spineless Jim was nowhere to be found. Himes has already thrown us – his alleged constituency – under the bus, so he can advance his career as Pelosi’s biatch. He is stealing the yet to be earned wages of our children.

I’m not a fan of Jim Himes, but Anonymous is wrong. He didn’t even go to the trouble of looking at the link he provided. Himes signed the letter of protest addressed to Pelosi! Take a look. The proof is there.
Actually Himes signed the letter (pg 3, left side, second sig down), for what it’s worth… ba dump bump (exactly nothing).
Disappointed but not surprised to not recognize any Ca. legislators there. Dems (and probably Reps) march lockstep to the national party agenda at all times around these parts.

Nonetheless, he lied in writing about there being no pork in the stimulus, voted for crap and tax, and in general has shown a dangerous disregard for us and our children. Himes’ well established preference for the leftie, statist, anti-Constitution, anti-liberty policies of his mentor Botox uber-nanny Pelosi are a threat to our children and the republic.
We’ve got to find someone to replace him in 2010.
