Jim Himes – a millionaire just since the election

The Hill reports that Jim Himes has already collected over $1 million in campaign contributions since his victory last November. Aside from a warm smile from our Cos Cob millionaire, what benefits do donors expect from the man? In short, what’s he selling?

    Dude –
    So we went to Mel’s house. The Evil G.A.R.
    Princess was not pleased. But that is a story for another day.
    Anyways, after we were done, I had Cabana Boy drive me around town. We were going down Riversville Road, and there is a VW bus on the side of the road with a plastic For Sale sign in the front and back window. Where are we? South Carolina? Some one turning their property into a used car lot?
    Then we tooled around Greenwich Ave. Pretty lame Dude. Everything is closed. There are boarded up store fronts for Pete’s Sake!!
    How could people be so stupid, and not save for a rainy day. They screwed around with these “alternative investment vehichles”, didn’t diversify, and put all their eggs in one basket. I am so glad I didn’t fall for that!!!
    OFF TO DINNER!!!
